Where: Saxton Field (start and finish at the Cricket Oval Pavilion)
What: A 5km loop around the Saxton Field pathways
Morning tea will be provided at the finish where you can connect with those around you and browse the mental health and wellbeing resources.
The event is free but koha is appreciated with all proceeds from the walk donated to Yellow Brick Road, a national organisation that provides mental health support for families.
If you're bringing a dog, please keep it on a lead at all times and remain on the pathways.

We would appreciate if you could RSVP to our Facebook event using the link below so we have an idea of numbers. If this isn't possible, don't worry. We look forward to seeing you there.

While the organisers will take every reasonable precaution for everyone's safety, responsibility lies with the participants.
2019'S WALK
A huge thank you to everyone who made the forth Sunrise Walk For Wellbeing a great success! To all walkers, volunteers, sponsors, musicians, committee, MC, first aiders, Mental Health Team and the Nelson Golf Club - thank you for your support and help. We hope that the morning has helped people, with a step in the right direction, to accept depression as a normal human illness that can be talked about and shared.
